Why Dyslexia Service?
My name is Ruth Grigg.
I'm a specialist Dyslexia and SEN Tutor.
I help children with dyslexia and reading difficulties become proficient at reading, writing and spelling, by providing tailored and specialised tuition.
I have been working as a tutor since 2015, and have worked with a variety of students, of different ages, and with various needs, both in homes and schools.
I am qualified with a BA Honours in Integrated Childhood Studies and Early Years Professional Status (or Early Years Teacher Status), with 20 years of experience, in a variety of Early Years and school settings, including working with children with special needs.
I also hold a Teaching Certificate in Post-Compulsory Education (Further Education) Diploma in Dyslexia with a Distinction, and a TEFL qualification.
With Dyslexia Service, all the hard work has been done for you. All we need from you, is trust and co-operation.
Build real confidence to read phonetically and accurately decode words, even at higher reading levels.
The power of starting early means we can build a strong foundation, close gaps before they grow, and ensure steady, confident progress without unnecessary stress.
We go above and beyond to help every student reach their full literacy potential by creating a supportive learning environment that builds a genuine love for learning.
